January 9th 2013 - Early this morning nominations for the EE British Academy Film Awards were announced by actors Alice Eve and Jeremy Irvine at a special press conference held at BAFTA. The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony hosted by Stephen Fry at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, on Sunday 10th February.
Adding extra sparkle to the proceedings, Champagne Taittinger is the Official Champagne to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts for the eleventh year running. Special BAFTA labelled Magnums and bottles of Champagne Taittinger Brut Réserve Non-Vintage have been produced to be served at the ceremony.
Villa Maria Estate (New Zealand's most awarded Wine Company for over 30 years) is BAFTA's Official Wine Partner and will be serving Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2012 and Villa Maria Private Bin Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 at the special awards dinner and after show party at Grosvenor House.
