As Australians head into winter, lighting fires and dusting off the ugg boots, the Burge family are again toasting the success of their favourite winter tipple.
The Grant Burge Wines 20 Year Old Tawny has again triumphed by winning two major trophies at this years' Royal Queensland Wine Show, bringing the tally to 19 trophies for one of Australia's most loved fortified wines.
Grant says the accolades couldn't have come at a better time and encourages wine lovers to try his Tawny as a winter warming treat.
"A lot of my peers grew up with Tawny being a central part of every winter dining experience" Grant said.
"I think a lot of younger Australian's haven't had the pleasure of sipping an old Tawny after dinner, I think it's something everyone should try".
Grant Burge Wines have a long history of fortified making, which spans over five generations and being awarded the "Best Fortified in the World" at London's Decanter World Wine Awards four times
