Esk Valley Estate has built a strong following for its Rosé since its inaugural 1991 release, and it continues its great record with the 2013 vintage picking up the Rosé trophy at last night's New Zealand's Hawkes Bay A&P Wine Awards.
A newly released wine, it also received a gold medal at the recent New Zealand International Wine Show.
Esk Valley Winemaker Gordon Russell was pleased with the result: "It was very satisfying to hear the judges' comments that this is a world class wine. It commands a very loyal following and is found on the wine lists of many restaurants both here and abroad. Not only does it look great, its dry and food friendly nature make it a great choice with many summer dishes, or as an aperitif." he said
