Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year is turning up the heat by revealing the final 400 shortlisted images in an online gallery revealed on Friday 28 March 2014.
The entries showcase photography of people cooking, people farming, celebrations, food for sale, food in the field and much more. The final 400 were selected from over 6000 images submitted from around the world; judges included Yotam Ottolenghi, Donna Hay, Julia Bradbury, Dr Nathan Myhrvold, Jay Rayner and David Loftus, Jamie Oliver’s photographer.
The 400 images have now been presented to our distinguished panel of judges and have been whittled down to the final 100 most exciting, inspiring and diverse images celebrating the culture of food. These images will be displayed at an exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London following the awards presentation on Wednesday 23 April. This year also saw the introduction of several exciting new categories including Politics of Food, Food Bloggers and unearthed® Food in Film.
The four-day exhibition will run from Thursday 24th – Sunday 27th April 2014.
Now in its third year, Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year is an international competition, open to professional and amateur, old and young and offers a £5000 prize to the overall winner.
