Thursday 1st May 2014 saw the launch of Sabrina Ghayour’s first new book Persiana at the Westbury Hotel, London. Guest were treated to Taittinger champagne matched to some of the creative dishes from the book.
Persiana is a celebration of the food and flavours from the regions around the Southern and Eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The book features 100 recipes for modern and accessible Middle Eastern dishes including Mezze & Sharing Plates; Breads, Grains & Pulses; Soups, Stews & Tagines; Roasts & Grills; Salads & Vegetables; and Desserts & Sweet Treats.
Iranian-born Sabrina Ghayour is one of the strongest voices in Middle Eastern food today. In addition to hosting her hugely successful Persian Supper Club, she regularly creates pop-ups including recent events at the National Gallery, Modern Pantry and Grain Store.
She teaches privately and at Divertimenti, has appeared everywhere from the BBC Good Food Show to Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival and has been featured in The Time delicious and many more publications. Sabrina was recently declared a “rising star” in food by the Observer.
