Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria Fly High With London in the Sky

Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria will be toasting London’s skyline this September with their sponsorship of London in the Sky - an open air pop up restaurant suspended 100 feet from the ground.  It will see five of London’s best Michelin starred chefs and restaurants recreate their signature menus and dining experiences for guests whilst cooking in the air.

For ten days (12th-21st September), London in the Sky will offer diners the opportunity to eat and drink the best that London has to offer, with breakfasts served by Anna Hansen’s The Modern Pantry, and lunch and dinner services from Benares’ Atul Kochhar; Club Gasgon’s Pascal Aussignac; Angler’s Tony Fleming; L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon’s Xavier Boyer; and Alyn Williams from Alyn Williams at The Westbury.

Diners to each of these restaurants in the sky will enjoy a Champagne Taittinger reception followed by a selection of signature dishes (three courses at lunch and five at dinner) paired with hand chosen Villa Maria wines. Champagne Taittinger and canapé flights will also be available in the afternoon and evening for a dramatic night time city back-drop.

Lynn Murray, Marketing Director at Hatch Mansfield (sole UK agents for Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria) comments, “We are very excited to be a part of such a creative pop up event with first class cuisine. London is always striving to bring new top quality food and drink experiences to consumers.  As we are looking to do the same with our wines, this was an opportunity we just couldn’t pass up.”

Champagne Taittinger remains one of the few top Champagne houses to be owned and actively managed by the family named on the label

Villa Maria is New Zealand’s most successful family-owned winery and has been the country’s most awarded winery for over 30 years.

Hatch Mansfield are the sole UK agents for Taittinger Champagne and Villa Maria wines.
