The winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize 2015 was announced on Thursday 15th October at an event held at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), 66 Portland Place W1.
The RIBA Stirling prize, now in its 20th year is the UK’s most prestigious architecture prize. The building must be in the European Union and be designed by an RIBA Member.
Burntwood School, a large comprehensive girls’ school in Wandsworth, London by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM) won for the UK’s best new building.
Taittinger Champagne, the official Champagne partner to RIBA, was on hand to celebrate this years prize.
