Back again for the ninth year Action Against Hunger’s Fine Wine Auction and Dinner raised over £234,000 at an event held on 21st November at 1 Lombard Street, a stunning former banking hall in Central London.
This is the equivalent to providing 5575 malnourished children with lifesaving therapeutic food
Each year, the event unites some of the UK’s top chefs to cook a fantastic bespoke meal for guests. This year’s chefs include Rowley Leigh (FT Cookery Correspondent), Mitch Tonks (The Seahorse Restaurant), Ruth Rogers (River Café) and Bruno Loubet (Grain Store).
Guests were welcomed with a Champagne Taittinger reception, accompanied by delicious canapés.
A host of exclusive and money-can’t-buy experiences and items, including the chance to bid on a Taittinger collection bottle were offered in the silent auction.
