30th March - Georgina Campbell and Dermot O’Leary today announced the nominees for the 69th Annual House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards in 2016 via a special press conference held at BAFTA and live streamed on www.bafta.org. Presented annually to recognise and honour individuals for outstanding achievement in television, this year’s award will see the likes of Ben Whishaw and Idris Elba battle it out to win a coveted BAFTA mask.
The Award ceremony will take place on Sunday 8 May at the Royal Festival Hall, and will be hosted by Graham Norton. As official Champagne and Wine Partners to BAFTA, Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria wines from New Zealand will be helping the guests celebrate.
Bespoke BAFTA labelled Magnums and bottles of Champagne Taittinger Brut Réserve NV will be served at the ceremony, and New Zealand’s most awarded winery for over 30 years, Villa Maria, will be serving their Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2015 and Private Bin Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 at the special awards dinner and after show party at Royal Festival Hall.
