A Sparkling fundraiser for Too Many Critics

Top chefs and restaurateurs played the UK’s food critics at their own game last night, as they watched how well they coped in the kitchen when the tables were turned at Action Against Hunger’s Too Many Critics event. Held at Ceviche Old Street on Sunday 5th June , the critics including Bill Knot, Lisa Markwell, Jay Rayner, Lucas Hollweg, Joe Warwick and Rebecca Woollard, worked up a sweat for their critical audience under the watchful eye of Ceviche’s Martin Morales. The evening, hosted by Nigel Barden, food and drink broadcaster from BBC Radio 2 ,started off with a Champagne Taittinger reception and raised an impressive £33,000 for Action Against Hunger.
