New Zealand’s Villa Maria was a proud partner of the sixth Wilderness Festival last weekend. Bringing in 30,000 visitors each day, festival goers enjoyed the likes of Robert Plant and the Flaming Lips alongside the award winning Villa Maria Private Bin Pinot Grigio, Rosé & Pinot Noir wines. Guests were able to relax in the tranquil surroundings of the dedicated Villa Maria Wine Garden, including a Bach, (a New Zealand-style holiday hut) and wine truck.
Wilderness is a decadent and immersive celebration of festival traditions, set in the stunning lake and enchanting woodland surroundings of Lord Rothewick’s Oxfordshire home, Cornbury Park. In equal measures, the programming is based around 8 pillars; Music, Food & Drink, Talks & Debates, Theatre & Arts, Outdoors, Workshops, Wellbeing and Family.
Random fun festival fact: The Sunday cricket featured over 20 streakers, which has broken a Wilderness record!
