Chardonnay Clos de la Chapelle Bourgogne Blanc 2018

  • 75cl bottle

An aromatic and fruity Chardonnay - fleshy and refreshing with an excellent finish. Beautiful with shellfish dishes.

The Domaine Romy is a propert of 30 hectares in the area of the Pierres Dorées in the south of Beaujolais. This Chardonnay is made from vines located on Morancé hill.

2018 was an ideal vintage with good quantity and even better quality.

The grapes are pressed and a controlled, cool fermentation takes place immediately in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is only partial to retain some of the crispness. Bottling happens after 8 months.

Enjoy with:

  • Grilled and Roasted White Meats
  • Fish/Shellfish
  • Pizza/Pasta
  • Salads and Picnics
  • Mature Strong Cheeses
Try it as an aperitif or on fish and shellfish dishes.
