Hatch Mansfield Charity Committee: Building on a Year of Fundraising Success

The Hatch Mansfield Charity Committee continues to strengthen its mission to give back through a range of meaningful fundraising and support initiatives. Created to streamline the company’s charitable efforts, the Committee ensures balanced and sustained support across all areas of Hatch’s charity strategy.

Over £151,000 raised for Hospitality Action

Hatch Mansfield are acutely aware of the difficulties, both emotional and financial facing thousands of people working in the hospitality industry across the world. One stand out moment this year was presenting a giant cheque for £151,000 to Hospitality Action. This incredible amount was raised through the hard work of the Bike to Care initiative, led by David Stephan from Louis Jadot and Hatch Mansfield. The Hatch Mansfield trio of Patrick McGrath, Mark Calver and Aaron Turner were joined by key personalities from the UK hospitality industry this month to tackle a two-day 200km circuit through Médoc, the Graves and the Bordeaux Right Bank. Fundraising began with a dinner at the Nobu Hotel, organised by Mark Calver which helped to raise this incredible amount.

The Drinks Trust

Earlier this year, the Committee’s Wine Laser Shoot Tournament in support of The Drinks Trust raised over £8,000. Hatch Mansfield was recently highly commended at The Drinks Trust annual gala for the organisation of this event, and recognition for this event’s energy, generosity, and positive impact on the industry.

The gala, hosted by Graham Norton, also celebrated the Louis Jadot Develop Student of the Year award, presented by Louis Jadot Senior Brand Manager, Katarina Luciakova, to Louise Sheridan from Bancroft Wines. This award forms part of Louis Jadot’s sponsorship of The Drinks Trust Develop Programme, which helps ease the financial burden of education and training for unemployed individuals and junior staff in the drinks trade.

Building on this success, the second edition of the Wine Laser Clay Shoot Tournament will take place on 15 January 2026 at Rudding Park, Harrogate. Participants will once again enjoy the unique thrill of shooting modified clays with a real shotgun firing an infrared beam, complete with realistic sound effects and a live digital leaderboard. The event welcomes teams of five and solo shooters, promising a fun, competitive day while continuing to raise vital funds for The Drinks Trust.

Local charity fundraising

Alongside these headline industry charity initiatives, the Charity Committee also supports local fundraising efforts in and around the Ascot area.  Recent efforts  including our Macmillan Coffee Morning and contributions to local food banks. This reflects Hatch Mansfield’s commitment to making a tangible difference both within the drinks trade and the wider community.
