Arano Crianza 2019 6x75cl

Ribera del Duero
  • 75cl bottle

Produced with grapes from the Moradillo de Roa in Ribera, this is a refined wine showing great finesse.

Vineyards

From terraced vineyards which are composed of gravel, silt, and sandy loam soil. The soils are of variable depth with a medium-high level of limestone.

Vintage

The 2019 campaign has brought together all the necessary conditions for the production of quality wines. Due to the absence of rain at key times, flowering and ripening, in the months of May and June, the quantity of grapes was reduced, obtaining small and lose bunches, less compact, increasing the concentration of colour and aromas. The evolution of the grape during the vegetative cycle came with slight delay, but the low productions caused an earlier maturation. The Harvest took place in Bela between September, 28th and October, 17th.

Winemaking

Hand harvesting in 10kg cases, processed in stainless steel tanks with cold pre-fermentation maceration for 4 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation also takes places in stainless steel tanks. Once completed, the wine was then aged in French oak barrels for 15 months.
