Mon Plaisir Rouge 2017
The wine has fragrances of red fruit with notes of blackberries, blackcurrants and cherries. The palate is riche, subtle and elegant, it remains supple and easy to drink.
Clay-limestone soils with varying amounts of sand. Shallow, well-draining soil. Parcels located in the villages of Pourcieux and Pourrières at the feet of Mount Aurélien and Mount Sainte-Victoire. Mediterranean climate
This year, it was the climate and its extremes that gave us an incredible and very surprising vintage. 2017 was a year in which the elegance and balance of the wines and the softness of the tannins contrasted with a growing season of extreme weather phenomena and an exceptionally small harvest in the south.
Harvest is carried out by machine at night to preserve freshness and aromas. The grapes then go into stainless steel vats. After a long maceration, the wine is aged in vats for several months.
