Hawkes Bay
A wine jam packed full of flavour. Aromas of dark sweet berries, vanilla and spice are matched by a rich and silky smooth mouthfeel.
Vineyards
The Left Field Malbec is grown on the Te Awa vineyard located in the Gimblett Gravels.
Vintage
The Hawkes Bay 2020 vintage followed a warm dry summer which extended well beyond the completion of harvest, ensuring superb conditions for ripening.
Winemaking
In our quest to make the ultimate smooth and generously flavoured red wine, we selected special parcels of grapes and fermented them separately in open top tanks. Fermentation was managed to ensure a very gentle extraction of flavour from the grapes to create a soft
