The Taittinger UK Sommelier of the Year competition recognises the very fi nest talent in wine service. Organised by The Caterer and recognised by the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, the event is open to professional sommeliers working in the UK.
Widely recognised as the premier accolade in UK wine service, past winners include some of the industry’s leading lights when it comes to wine knowledge including Nicolas Clerc, Ronan Sayburn, Xavier Rousset and the late Gerard Basset. In 2022 Vincenzo Arnese was named winner.
Entries are open until the 5th of April 2023.
