Adam started in the wine trade as a part time assistant with The Victoria Wine Co. in 1989. Having graduated in 1992 with an Honours degree in European Business he moved to VW Head Office in ’93 to work in Logistics covering the Fine Wines side of the business. In the summer of 1995 he joined the 6 man team that was the “new” Hatch Mansfield as Administration Assistant and gradually took over the Logistics function, overseeing the integration of Esk Valley, Caliterra and the most challenging addition of Champagne Taittinger. He achieved the WSET Diploma in 1997.
