    Vitalie is the great granddaughter of the founder of Champagne Taittinger, Pierre Taittinger. Having worked alongside her father, Pierre-Emmanuel (former President), for 12 years as Marketing and Communications Director, Vitalie steps into her father’s shoes and takes the helm as President in 2020.

    The eldest of Pierre-Emmanuel’s children, Clovis oversees the sales and marketing department of Taittinger. Over the last decade and more he has tirelessly travelled the world overseeing the international development of Taittinger, which can now be enjoyed in over 150 countries. Clovis shares the family passion for the business. He is renowned for saying “Champagne is the best way to say ‘I love you’ in all languages.”

    Working with Vitalie and Clovis, Damien has a pivotal role co-ordinating  grape growing, winemaking, production, business and finance. Joining Taittinger in 2007, Damien is blessed with a thorough knowledge of Champagne and is an essential part of the team in shaping its future.

    Christelle Rinville

    Vineyard Director

    Christelle joined Taittinger in September 2015 following 25 years of working in Champagne, including  10 years in the technical services of the CIVC Champagne body, advising Champagne Houses and growers.  Passionate about the environment, Christelle was a key part of the team ensuring Taittinger achieved the  Sustainable Viticulture certification in Champagne and the HVE (High Environmental Value) certification in 2017. She is also in charge of the vineyard management at Domaine Evremond vineyard in Chilham (Kent).

  • Alexandre Ponnavoy

    Chef de Caves

    Alexandre joined Taittinger in 2015 working closely alongside the longstanding Chef de Caves, Loïc Dupont. After 34 years with us, Loïc retired in 2018 and Alexandre was appointed Chef de Caves. Responsible for the winemaking and blending of all the Taittinger wines, Alexandre is the guardian of their consistent quality.
