Winery

A bottle of Seña wine lying on its side, being carefully wrapped by hand in white tissue paper upon which are Seña logos.

Seña is made at the stunning Errazuriz winery in Panquehue which was first established in 1870 when Errazuriz’s founder – Don Maximiano Errazuriz, the ancestor Eduardo Chadwick – first brough vines to the Aconcagua Valley.

Angular white stone gate posts flank a black metal pair of gates with wavy metal bars. In front of each gate post stands a sturdy tree trunk, and behind the gate and fence is a vineyard, with trees behind and low mountains in the distance

The beautiful original 1870 building still stands with the spectacular underground cellars still being used. Two brand new winery buildings were completed in 2010, including the Don Maximiano Icon Winery where Seña is made. The Don Max is an architecturally stunning masterpiece with oak fermenters and environmentally friendly ‘ground source’ heating/cooling.
