The Story

Terroirs et Talents is an association of Beaujolais and Mâconnais family-owned estates. Its origin is first and foremost a story of friendship and the coming together of two people: Hervé Dupond and Xavier Barbet. Each with a long history in wine to their name – the Dupond and Barbet families have been present in Beaujolais since 1580 and 1711 respectively.

Terroirs et Talents is an association of Beaujolais and Mâconnais family-owned estates.

The business was established in 2007 with the aim of offering a range of premium wines from winemakers with the same vision and philosophies and for them all to share experiences and know-how, such as managing estates sustainably and selling internationally. Eight years later Grégory Barbet joined the company with the same desire and convictions. This natural and human alchemy represents the DNA of Terroirs et Talents. It has guided our development with the inclusion of other estates over the years, focused on consolidating obvious synergies, whilst retaining the identities of each estate.
