Jules du Souzy Wines

Frédéric Maignet, Consultant Oenologist talking with Grégory Barbet, President, in the cellars while sampling red wines

Lord Jules de Souzy, lived in Château de la Terrière  during the 19th century and developed its reputation for the fine wines it produced.  The range of wines Jules de Souzy – our winemaker range – is named in his honour.  Jules de Souzy grapes are sourced from high density vineyards primarily in the Mâconnais and Beaujolais, and the wines vinified using traditional processes.  We have an overriding respect for quality and the sustainable approaches utilised in the different vineyards.
