Remi Cohen joined Domaine Carneros in August 2020. She spent her first harvest working alongside former CEO and founding winemaker Eileen Crane, who stepped down after more than 30 years at the company. Remi has over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, building a career focused on fine winemaking, viticulture and directing strategic sales and marketing programmes in the luxury wine space. Remi began her career in the Carneros region after receiving her master’s degree in viticulture. She now comes full circle and ‘takes pride in the opportunity to continue to develop this foundation of excellence’.
TJ EvansPinot Noir Winemaker
TJ joined our team in May 2008 to head up still wine production, with emphasis on Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir has been the common thread throughout his career. After completing his MS at UC Davis in 1997, he began his career at La Crema winery in the Russian River, California. Vintages at other Californian wineries followed and after 3 years developing a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir ranch in southern Chile, TJ finally settled at Carneros.
Zak MillerSparkling Winemaker
After more than a decade working at Domaine Carneros under founding winemaker Eileen Crane, Zak stepped into the role of sparkling winemaker in 2020. Zak has worked on harvests abroad in New Zealand and Chile, returning home to join the team at Domaine Carneros. At the time, he was focused on still winemaking and mastering Pinot Noir, but under Crane’s guidance, Zak developed a deep fascination and appreciation for sparkling and never looked back.
