Completed in 1989, the classic 18th century château-style building was architecturally inspired by the historic Château de la Marquetterie in France owned by Champagne Taittinger. The winery houses production facilities, offices and a stunning visitor centre, including the newly opened Jardin d‘Hiver, which attracts in excess of 100,000 visitors a year. The production facility was later extended to focus on the increased production of top-quality Pinot Noir.

Hand harvested fruit is brought to the winery and passes through a gravity flow system. The fruit is picked and fermented by clone before final blending. Two styles of wine are made; sparkling wine made strictly to the Méthode Traditionelle and red wine, made from Pinot Noir. The whole winemaking process is under the watchful eye of Eileen Crane, President and Chief winemaker. Eileen’s aim is to create an elegant, delicate yet intense style. She is supported by TJ Evans, Pinot Noir Winemaker.
