The Gaja family - Angelo in front, with from L-R Gaia, Giovanni, Lucia and Rossana

Settling in Piedmont, northwest Italy, in the mid-17th century, the Gaja family has been growing vines and making wines in the Langhe hills ever since.

While their home remains in the beautiful village of Barbaresco, more recent adventures have taken them to Tuscany where the Pieve Santa Restituta Estate in Montalcino produces a stunning Brunello, and to Ca’Marcanda in Bolgheri.
