Louis Jadot Wines


Louis Jadot was established in Beaune by founder Louis-Henry Jadot in 1859. They have carefully striven to establish and maintain the quality of our wines for 160 years through the steady acquisition of the best vineyards in Burgundy.
Over a century and a half later, they now produce wines from over 150 appellations – from Beaujolais Villages to Le Montrachet.

Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy
Beauroy is located on steep slopes of nearly 30 to 40 degree incline. Here, the grapes ripen later than most of the other Chablis appellations and they are usually harvested last, resulting in wines that are very fresh, with intense floral aromas.

This vineyard is located on a gentle slope, between 230 and 360 metres above sea level, with an ideal eastern orientation that allows for maximum sunlight. Chalky soils with white marl are best suited to the Chardonnay grape and create here a rich, full-bodied, well-structured cuvee which balances firmness with ripe fruit flavours. Notes of oak and vanilla on the nose carry on the long, succulent finish.
