    Château de la Commaraine is a pretty 12th Century property on the outskirts of Pommard, whose cellars were once a private chapel.Immediately behind the property is the 4ha Clos de la Commaraine which is east facing with deep, well drained soils over underground springs. It produces wines which are masculine, deep and tannic with typically earthy and rich red fruit characters.
